December - Praises & Thanksgiving Text: Heb 13:15

Praises and thanksgiving are real weapon of genuine believers, it can serve as weapon of destruction to your enemy and as well of blessings to you, according to the text its suppose to be continuous as a Christian, in other words it’s not optional, it’s an obligation it’s not what you do when you like it’s like a debt you owe to access what belongs to you, listen to psalm 67:5-7 ‘5 May the peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you. 6 The land yields its harvest; God, our God, blesses us. 7 May God bless us still, so that all the ends of the earth will fear him’. It’s until then and only then shall the earth yield her increase, believe it or not, your opinion is not respected as far as God’ is concerned. We need to understand that your increase, your abundance, your breakthrough can be determined by your praises. Remember the praise in that psalm 67:5-7”... even our own God, shall bless us...” when God blesses, sorrow will disappear, as your blessing comes, your sorrow must go, in other words, sickness, give way (prov. 10:22) and every source of those problem will automatically be taken care of.

In 2 Samuel 6:16-16, it’s the story of David, he danced before the lord, he threw off his garment and his wife was watching him through the window and mocked him, immediately she was smitten with bareness. David in his own was a praise champion and thanksgiving, anytime he praises, like the said bible passage, he forgets about the office he occupies, of course he knows he was in that office because God put him there.

Brethren! 2011 is already going, count and recount your blessing, this is an opportunity to say thank you to God and also a time to open your heaven by engaging in a meaningful praises so that you will not miss out of the supernatural abundance of the blessings of God that He has reserved for this peculiar people, especially in this end of the year.

God bless you.
